Summer 2012 Manifesto

When I saw Elise’s post with her summer manifesto, and the link to Ali Edward’s link up. I immediately wrote mine in my journal. Then I visited all of the links from the link up. And when I got home Tuesday night, I created the image above from my summer list. I love summer. I love the warmth of sun on my shoulders and the dewy grass on my bare feet in the morning. I love all the time I get to spend outdoors and the taste of fresh vegetables from my garden and our CSA share. I believe that this summer is going to be amazing. I’m feeling very inspired and excited about all the things this summer has in store.

What’s your summer manifesto? What are you looking forward to most this summer?

By the way, there’s a little surprise written above, if you can find it :)

    • Thanks- I also need to start taking pictures out of my comfort zone. (I’m still scared to whip out my dslr in public, I always feel like people are staring.) And my subject matter also needs to expand from my pets, food, and plants. :)

  1. You’re moving?? Is that the surprise?
I love this. Mine is to keep embracing the calmer side of life, go to as many live shows as possible, drink in the sunshine and just love every day because summer is my favorite :)

    • Yes! That’s the surprise. I snuck it in there because it’s kind of an important part of this summer. I’m moving with Jon to Wisconsin in August.

I LOVE your summer manifesto/goals. And summer is my favorite too!

  2. I love the way you declared the move. Brilliant. I also love the amount of drinking on this list. Don’t forget “visit pittsburgh” as part of your plans <3

I must do a manifesto. Though I feel doing it now versus a month from now, it may look completely different :)

    • I wondered if anyone would notice the amount of drinking I plan on doing; I couldn’t decide which beverage would be my signiture drink this summer, so I decided that all three would have to work. Definitely do a manifesto, I’d love to read it, whether it’s from today or a month from now.
