Unintentional Blog Break

I took a very unintentional blog break. It was basically a product of having too much free time and too many fun things I’d rather be doing than sitting in front of my computer editing photos and typing up posts. It’s been a nice little break, I’ve accomplished a bunch, and gone on a few little trips, but I’ve also really missed documenting my life so here I am.

I’d like to mention also that I’ve decided to cut myself some slack for the remainder of the summer, leading up to my move to Wisconsin, with regards to blogging. In the past I have followed a (mostly self-inflicted) rule that I  blog every weekday, but I’m throwing that out the window for the summer. I’ll blog when I feel like it, and while that may mean I’ll blog every day, most likely it will be pretty sporatic posting. I hope you’ll continue to come by and say hello anyway friends.

All that being said, I am really excited to share some posts this week, including a recipe my friend Dean made Jon and me, a little July garden update, some paintings I’ve been working on, and a bit about my trips.  I’ve been checking off quite a few things from my summer manifesto. What have you all been up to?

  1. Take a break, it will only make you a better blogger. I will continue to wait for the good stuff you post later. Hey have fun and enjoy the move. Life is tooooo short to waste any of it.

    • Thanks! I agree, blogging breaks are necessary to stay fresh, I just wish I was more intentional about mine, so I’d feel less guilty than when they happen accidentally.

    • Thank you. I definitely am doing that! I hope you are too. (I have to catch up on reading all the blog posts in my reader- I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve been up to!)

I cherish all my comments! Thanks for stopping by.
